DETECTIVES today appealed for a group of girls to come forward after cash was stolen from an off-licence in St John Street, Darwen.
The incident happened about 9.30pm on Saturday when the shop keeper reported £25 missing from a plastic box kept under the counter.
Police said a youth had earlier run into the shop behind the counter claiming he had been chased there by the gang of girls.
