A DRINKING session that lasted around 13 hours ended unhappily for Amanda Jane Fisk.

She was arrested in the early hours of the morning after, a court was told.

Blackburn magistrates court heard that Fisk was shouting and screaming at a male companion because he could not find the keys to his car.

Fisk, 22, of Abraham Street, Blackburn, admitted a breach of the peace.

She was bound over in £50 to keep the peace for six months by magistrates.

A charge of being drunk and disorderly had been withdrawn by the prosecution. Julian Peers, defending, said Fisk was a lady of good character.

He said she was at a loss to explain her actions.

"She had been out drinking for approximately 13 hours," Mr Peers told the magistrates.

And he added: "She accepts she had far too much alcohol and can't remember the events leading up to her arrest."
