A CARING animal lover is looking for a poorly stray cat that homed in on her for treatment and then vanished.
Mrs Carol Bennett, of Whalley Road, Langho, is hoping to find the mysterious Persian cat again so it can have six stitches taken out and its course of anti-biotics completed.
The cat turned up at her stables in York Lane a few weeks back. Its fur was matted and its paw was injured.
Mrs Bennett already has four horses, two cats and two dogs -- some of them were rescued as strays -- and now this cat has seeked her out for help.
She took him to a vets, who amputated his foot, shaved-off the matted fur and put him on a course of anti-biotics.
She was intending to keep him, or at least she through his rehabilitation.
Anyone who sees the cat should call Mrs Bennett on 01254 247045 or 07740 883180.
