ALASTAIR Campbell, the Prime Minister's no-nonsense official spokesman, confirmed he would be taking more of a behind-the-scenes role from today.
Clarets fan Mr Campbell, who for four years has held an iron-like grip on the daily message from Downing Street, said his role "will and should" change.
