LEYLAND Barracudas took second place at a recent North Lancs Swimming League match at Lytham St Annes against the Rosegrove and Newton Hall clubs.
Taking first places for Barracudas were: Dan King in the 12-year boys' freestyle, Ian Aguilar, Daniel Crook, Philip Isherwood and Lee Godwin in the 14-year boys' medley relay, Nicole Aguilar, Vicky Woods, Jenna Middleton and Catherine Van-Russelt in the 12-year girls' freestyle relay, Jonathan Bruce, James Green, Daniel 'Potsy' and Dan King in the 12-year boys freestyle relay, Philip Isherwood in the 14-year boys' butterfly, Dan King in the 12-year boys' backstroke, Jill Ashworth in the 14-year girls' freestyle, Natalie Barber, Suzanne Corbett, Helen Ward and Jill Ashworth in the 14-year girls' freestyle relay, Philip Isherwood, Adam Thompson, Ian Aguilar and Lee Godwin in the 14-year boys' freestyle relay, Emma Moon, Nicole Aguilar, Jenna Middleton and Catherine Van-Russelt in the 12-year girls' medley relay.
Excellent support was provided by Rachel Horrocks, Alaina Lovatt, Charlotte Raimond, Linda Strettle, Gareth Rowe, Gareth Roberts, Ian Proctor, Mark Wood, Fabien Davies and Carole Wilcox.
Match result and final points -- Newton Hall 119, Leyland 99 and Rosegrove 82.
