CONCERN was growing today (Monday) for the safety of an elderly woman who went missing from her home in Blackpool yesterday (June 24).
Vera Hope, aged 77, was last seen at 11.30am on June 24 when she left her home on Preston New Road to go for a walk.
Mrs Hope was wearing brown pants, black boots, a blue waist-length jacket, two gold bracelets and a gold wedding ring.
She is slim with a fair complexion and grey curly collar-length hair.
Police were appealing for anyone who might have seen her to contact them on (01253) 293933
