DRIVING from Leigh to Wigan doesn't get any easier.
A trip that used to take 20 minutes took me more than double that this week.
Why? Because of a piddling little section of roadworks near the bridge at Ince.
It was stop and go all the way from Hindley Green.
What is so annoying is that the road is coned off, traffic lights are operating, yet there's not a workman in sight.
That should not be allowed when traffic is so heavy on main roads between the towns.
Some may think it serves me right for going in the first place!
