SEVERAL hundred people who enjoyed a fun and sports day at Harle Syke.
The event at Queen Street recreation ground raised more than £400 for the sports area and was organised by parish councillors Bob Gregory and Scott Cassidy.
The village is trying to raise £10,000 for drainage work and to put in a bid for lottery funding for a changing room complex.
