TELEVISION Survivor Pete Farrar told Saturday shoppers in Burnley that he was looking forward to seeing a reported raunchy new desert island video.

The four-hour tape is reported to include night's of passion between the £1 million ultimate survivor Charlotte 'The Harlot' Hobrough and fellow survivor Adrian Bauckham.

Pete, who lasted 31 days on the island of Pulau Tiga, off Borneo, said: "I don't know whether the tape will be steamy or not.

"I have only read what other people have also seen in the Press. I never met Adrian but I can say that Charlotte is a lovely girl and I think she deserved to win."

Pete, 31, of Stockport, was in Burnley to help Spex opticians in Parker Lane celebrate their 18th anniversary in town, where customers were invited to share a glass of Champagne and birthday cake.

Practice manager Linda Haley-Storey, said: "We are very excited about our coming of age in Burnley and delighted to be joined by Pete to help us celebrate."

Pete said he was looking forward to seeing the tape, not for any sex content it may or may not show, but to catch any previously unscreened shots of himself and, in particular, the close relationship he formed with Richard, who made the last three on the island.

Pete said: "We worked very well together and that didn't come out in the programmes.

"I thought he was going to win, but the two girls got together and brought about his downfall.

"Jackie, the other finalist, was in my tribe. She wasn't the most physically able, but she played the scheming and plotting game very well. But in the end it was Charlotte who got the vote.

"She managed to play the game well. She is a really lovely girl, she wore her heart on her sleeve. The others thought she would be out but in the end she had the last laugh."

Pete, who was a model and actor before jumping at the chance to be a Survivor, said he felt disappointed when he was thrown off the island.

He said: "I worked tremendously hard for the first 25 to 26 days, but then I needed a couple of days to try to save energy.

"It was then I was thrown off. They forgot I had pulled them out of holes earlier."

He added: 'I went purely for the adventure and it was great. I had only been as far as Austria before that.

"I had a really good time and would definitely do it all over again."
