REGARDING the Arran Trail walks and ponds off Shadsworth, Blackburn, these can be very pleasant for people to walk and exercise dogs and for kids to feed the ducks, this being a bird wildlife area.
But, more often than not, it is plagued by yobs on motorcycles. Sometimes it resembles a scramble track. Notices stating 'No Motorcycles' make no different. And on being approached the riders usually tell me to: "*** off!"
It has been reported to the police and the council on several occasions, but to no avail.
Can nothing be done before someone or someone's pet gets injured or stops other people's enjoyment being spoiled?
WILLIAM HUNT, Haslingden Road, Blackburn.
