HOW disgraceful it is that the statue of the boy on the Boulevard in the heart of Blackburn could so easily be vandalised with no witnesses or even it being filmed on CCTV.
So much for security. What chance has any elderly person or young child in that area?
It sums up Blackburn in some ways. No wonder we're abandoned in our quest for city status. Come on, Council, you must do much more to secure prime areas in Blackburn.
