THERE was triple joy for Lancashire's pool teams when they faced nearest rivals GMC Pool League at Riley's Snooker Club, in Blackpool.
The Lancashire 'A' team set the mood with an emphatic 28-16 victory. Not to be oudone the 'B' team won 24-20, and then the Ladies put the icing on the cake with a 26-18 scoreline.
All three teams have now consolidated their leads at the top of their tables and on present form have a good chance of reaching the Intercounty Finals at Great Yarmouth next March.
Entry forms for the Posthouse Classic pool tournament in November are now available. On Sunday, September 23, there will be a ladies open at Riley's Snooker Club, Blackpool.
