A MAN was due to face Blackburn magistrates charged with arson and attempting to endanger life.
David Hughes, 31, of Ellenshaw Close, allegedly set fire to his flat on Thursday night.
The fire service was called but there was little damage to the property.
Hughes was treated at Blackburn Royal Infirmary.
