IFULLY endorse Eric Leaver's comments (LET, August 22) about Councillor Ashley Whalley, who seems dismissive of anyone who disagrees with the regeneration scheme for Church Street in Blackburn.
In the past, I have thought that hairdresser Jeff Stone's comments on the scheme have been intelligent and constructive and his suggestions on the preservation of the cobblestones as being part of Blackburn's heritage were reasonable.
Mr Stone articulates his views very well.
He has excellent communication skills and I am certain Coun Whalley would benefit from retraining on how to deal with the public.
