A NELSON man was found hanged at his home less than a month after the death of his wife.
Olive Dodd died at Pendle Community Hospital on August 2, her 80th birthday. Dennis Dodd, 80, was found on Monday at his home in Ada Street by his daughter, Denise Todd .
At an inquest in Burnley yesterday, Mrs Todd of Halifax Road, Nelson, told East Lancashire Coroner David Smith that her father had found it hard to cope and had complained of feeling desperately ill.
She said despite that he was fit for his age and had joined a rambling club.
Mr Smith adjourned the full hearing to a date to be fixed.
