DULL Deirdre has dropped her dowdy appearance and has gone for a new look in spex appeal.
Corrie's Deirdre has ditched her old fashioned glasses for good, thanks to people who have been voting on www.coronationstreet.co.uk for her new 'spexy' look.
Voting took place all day Thursday, August 23 and closed the following day.
More than 7,000 votes were cast, the winning, more modern looking specs took 25% of the votes making them the most popular with 1,750.
Deirdre, pictured right, now looks every inch the designer's dream in her new frames and web surfers and viewers should stay tuned to Coronation Street to see if Dishy Dev agrees!
