ONE of Radcliffe's oldest residents has died.
Miss Ethel May Pinder passed away in Pendle Nursing Home, School Street, on August 19 at the grand old age of 101.
She moved into the home in 1997. Prior to that she lived in Lever Street and before that Milltown Close.
Miss Pinder's funeral was at St Thomas and St John Church, Radcliffe, on Tuesday (Aug 28), followed by burial at Bury Cemetery.
