PADIHAM are hoping to secure the first leg of another double over Alsager Town at the Arbories tomorrow.

Graham Howarth's side beat the Crewe-based team home and away last season and are out to repeat the feat.

There are no major injury worries and Howarth is likely to stick to the side that won back-to-back games against Darwen on Tuesday (3-2) and Oldham Town on Saturday (also 3-2).

Secretary Alan Smith said the side have more strength in depth than last season.

"We have 21 or 22 players now who are on a par, and then a couple of reserve team players who can step up if they are needed," he said.

"They are all local lads who want to do well for the team. They are know one another and want to do well for each other. It is an excellent situation to be in."
