HELP is on offer to businesses in the Bacup and Stacksteads area who want to improve the exterior of their premises.
The Groundwork Business Environment Association in Rossendale is looking to help all types of businesses in the area with grants available from the Bacup and Stacksteads Single Regeneration Budget.
Areas which may qualify for assistance include:
landscaping of derelict/ scrub land
perimeter fencing/walling/ seating
well designed parking areas
improved building appearance
suitable/attractive paving.
For any prior application for a grant, a detailed sketch of the scheme needs to be provided undertaken by a Groundwork landscape artist working in conjunction with the business representative.
It will be provided free of charge, up to £500.
General repairs or maintenance do not qualify for grant aid.
