FIREFIGHTERS rescued a man from his burning flat during the early hours of Thursday (Sept 6).
Six officers wearing breathing apparatus pulled Mr Malcolm Rawlinson to safety before tackling the blaze in the kitchen of the second floor apartment in Tulle Court at 4.20am.
Mr Rawlinson (42) was taken to North Manchester General Hospital for treatment for smoke inhalation.
