PREPARING and embarking on a trip to Banana Island proved to be child's play for nine-year-old Briony Thomas.
She is pictured eating a banana during the climax to a six-day playscheme which was staged at Brandlesholme Methodist Church in Bury.
Throughout the week, the youngsters were involved in the popular programme entitled "Going to Banana Island.".
The children took part in variety of activities including artwork to simulate an aeroplane and their flight to Banana Island.
They also had to make certain Bible characters as well as getting involved in games and poster making.
An average of around 25 youngsters took part in the playscheme which was supervised by a number of adults.
