BLACKBURN Hawks begin their English National Hockey League (North) campaign this weekend with back-to-back matches, away to Grimsby tomorrow and at home to Sunderland on Sunday.
Last weekend the Hawks prepared with home and away challenge games against Southern Division side Telford Wildfoxes. A narrow 6-7 defeat in Shropshire was followed by a comfortable 5-2 win at the Blackburn Arena.
Player-coach Bobby Haig has no injury worries with a full-strength squad to choose from. The Sunderland match on Sunday faces off at 6 pm and the Arena doors open at 5.15pm.
