THE cheers are ringing around Bloomfield Road after Blackpool FC toasted a new signing!
For the Tangerines have linked up with Daniel Thwaites, the top North West brewery known for a close relationship with soccer, which will service all sections of the fast-developing new-look stadium.
Thwaites are the club's new and exclusive drinks suppliers, a deal warmly welcomed by Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston: "Thwaites is a perfect business partner, a company local to us with both a solid committment to high standards and a keen interest in sport. We are delighted to welcome them on board and feel sure it represents good news all around the ground."
Mr Oyston was on hand when Thwaites's world famous Shire Horses dropped in to celebrate the contract.
Martin Shearer, Thwaites's regional free trade sales manager, says: "Blackpool FC now joins our expanding portfolio of high-profile customers on the Fylde, following on from the likes the Pleasure Beach and Inn The Pink Leisure.
"It is an exciting time at Bloomfield Road, with the new stands and increased corporate facilities, and we are very pleased indeed to team up with the club in this way."
Thwaites are also official drinks suppliers at several football clubs across the region including Burnley, Bury, Rochdale, Accrington Stanley and Lancaster City.
