HOLKER House, the Adult Education Centre in Darwen, has plenty of classes to suit all tastes and enrolment for courses is taking place now.
Full time courses available in Darwen include a Certificate in Administration and Secretarial Procedures and an Access Foundation Course.
The foundation course is a full-time programme for people who want to improve their maths or English and gain computer experience.
People can choose their own timetable and there will also be the opportunity to try a selection of vocational options

Other courses taking place at the centre include sign language, Keep Fit, Tai Chi, creative writing, dressmaking, basic beauty therapy, flowercraft, psychology and guitar classes.
