WE thank and congratulate you upon your Opinion column (LET, October 3) in which you ridiculed the remark of BBC weather girl Heather Stott, likening Blackburn shopping centre to a 'tiled toilet.' We concur with all of your comments.
We feel there is more egg on her face than shame on the town, with her admission that she had not visited our town for a decade.
Our of every bad can come a goodness and, hopefully, Ms Stott will respond favourably to the invitation to visit our town in the near future, when we trust she will withdraw her comment.
