NEW signing Gareth Rowe made an impressive debut for LR scoring the opening goal in a fine win.
Great Harwood had the better of the first half on a heavy pitch, but Rovers took the lead in the 20th minute when the new boy bundled the ball in from close range. Five minutes later he almost had a second when he headed a Mark Jones cross against the bar. In the 40th minute Great Harwood equalised from a corner. The second half saw Atherton take control and in the 64th minute Mark Parry restored the lead and in the 70th minute an own goal made it 3-1.
