A BLACKBURN school is the only one in the North West to be chosen for a project to write a novel online.
Students in year 7 at Queens Park Community Technology College and pupils for Shadsworth Junior School will collaborate with schools from around the country to contribute towards a chapter in the novel.
And the finished product will be published by Beaumont Publishing to provide a permanent reminder of the project.
Work on the online novel will be part of the school's out of hours Creative Writing Club and, after the novel is published, the group will be searching for other exciting challenges to extend and challenge their use of English.
