A BURY pub is supporting the national anti-drink driving campaign.
During the Christmas period, The Chicago Rock Cafe in Haymarket Street will be operating the "I'll Be Des" scheme by offering DESignated drivers who visit the entertainment hot spot complimentary free soft drinks all night.
Kevin Perrin, of the Chicago Rock Cafe, said: "We think the Des campaign is a great initiative and we are keen to offer our support to help keep the roads in the area safe."
Bury Police are interested to hear from any other pubs in the borough who are running the Des scheme.
The names of the pubs will be listed in the Bury Times during the run up to Christmas.
