POLICE in Nelson are concerned for the safety of a missing 15-year-old girl.
Emma Jane Knight of Reedyford Road, Nelson, has not been seen since she left home on Thursday, November 29, at 4.45pm to meet a friend. She never arrived.
It is believed Emma may have travelled to Accrington or to the Longsight area of Manchester.
She is described as 5ft 2ins tall with dark blonde shoulder-length hair, blue/grey eyes, clear complexion.
When last seen she was wearing black trousers, black "Stomper" shoes, a grey hooded top and long-sleeved white T-shirt.
Emma also wears a gold wedding band although she is not married.
PC Mick greenwood said: "We are growing concerned for Emma's safety and well-being. We would encourage anyone with information to contact police on 01282 425001.
"We are also appealing to Emma to contact the police or her family to say she is safe and well."
