I WRITE regarding the building of a hostel for the homeless at Castlecroft in Bury.
There are a lot fewer than 200 residents and businesses near the site, and 95 per cent of these were opposed to the building of the hostel. So could someone please explain to me where the 200 letters of support came from and how these people learned of the application? Do they live near the site? Do they even live in Bury?
