WHILST sympathising with correspondent "Disgruntled Householder" (Your Letters, Jan 4) may I say that all those who work responsibly have to do extra at holiday time.
The bin men work very hard at an unpleasant job and should not be considered an exception just because they had to make special provision over the festive period.
