WHAT could be better after an gruelling day at the office than a quick, cheap, fuss-free take-away?

Well if that is what's on your menu pop into Marco's and that's just what you'll get.

The take-away has been in the town for more than 10 years, but in the last year has been taken over.

My husband and I shared the three dishes, yummy garlic mushrooms which were of the large flat variety -- much tastier than tiny button mushies.

The 9-inch garlic bread with cheese was not too dry, although the cheese was a bit crispy.

And the 9-inch hot and spicy pizza lived up to its name. It was a less than subtle blend of mozzarella cheese, tomato, pepperoni, Italian herbs and that all important ingredient green chillies.

If you are a lover of Indian as well as Italian cuisine, this little number will be right up your street with its extra fizz, but the chilli after-taste is not too overpowering for the seasoned customer.

They said ready in 10 minutes and so it was -- and at a cost of just £8 for the entire meal, I could hardly complain.

My only criticism is that the menu is not up-to-date and so some of the items are no longer available.
