REGARDING Steven Cummings' article (LET, February 26) on Blackburn Rovers' clown academy going into Europe and being beaten by Swedish carpet layers, it's all true.
As a Burnley fan who has gone to every game this campaign, nothing pleases me more than seeing Rovers get beat because Graeme Souness has an excuse for everything whereas Stan Ternent knows when his team haven't performed well and will take it on the chin.
Fair enough, Rovers are in the Premiership and Burnley are in the First Division, but look at the players Rovers have bought compared to the ones we've got. Take Corrado Grabbi for instance and look who we've got for a lot less -- a man who actually scores in the Premiership, none other than Mr Robbie Blake.
