RELIGIOUS leaders from the North West gathered in Blackburn for the regional launch of a major Government initiative on inter-denominational harmony.
More than 200 delegates from all faiths and political parties attended the meeting at King George's Hall.
During the high-profile event, Blackburn with Darwen Council's approach to working with different faiths was held up as a prime example of the work which should be going on.
The Prime Minister was represented by John Battle MP.
