A RENAULT Clio collided with a child attempting to cross the road at Ennismore Street, Colne.
Rachael Matthew, 18, of Harwood Lane, Great Harwood, was driving the car on Monday at 5.50pm when it collided with Ryan Bench, eight, of Cleaver Street, Burnley.
Ryan was taken to Burnley General Hospital for treatment to slight facial injuries.
