A HOSPITAL employee arrived at his workplace in an ambulance after his car veered off the road and hit a tree in a Bickershaw garden.
The man was treated for minor injuries after the accident which happened about 6.30am last Friday morning.
A police spokesman said the driver lost control of his Ford Granada which collided with a tree in the front garden of a house and turned onto its side.
Paramedics attended and the driver was taken to Wigan Infirmary.
