BLACKBURN's own Operation Sound System are set to bring an extreme mix of world music to the town next month.
Fusing the organic, traditional sounds of Africian drumming, aboriginal didjeridoos with the pulsating energy of Western dance music just might provide backdrop to the most diverse dance night in East Lancashire this year.
Ancestral Voices takes place at Tony's Empress Ballroom on Saturday, June 8 with admission £5.50 advance (tickets available at King George's Hall box office) or £7 on the doors with open from 9pm till 2am.
