A MAN had part of his ear bitten off in an attack in Accrington town centre.
The victim, in his 30s and from Bury, was in Cuisine World in Church Street early on Saturday when he was attacked by two men -- one white and one Asian -- who are believed to be local.
Det Insp Peter Broome, of Accrington police, said: "This was a very violent attack and we need to speak to any potential witnesses."
The victim was taken to Blackburn Royal Infirmary hospital. Witnesses should call Accrington police on 01254 382141 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
