MANCHESTER'S Library Theatre presents Tall Stories, a series of musical pieces, from May 30.
The stories, by The Shout company, explore the experiences of 20th century emigrants to New York and their dreams of a new life and new opportunities.
The pieces, written by Orlando Gough and Rufus Chew, include a diverse range of music influenced by jazz, gospel, folk and gypsy styles.
