ONCE again, I agree with John Shorrock (Letters, May 15) -- Church Street in Blackburn is a mess!
The art on the plinths is pathetic! The public should have been asked for suggestions.
My husband and I would like to see a water feature, like a fountain, where the public could sit in hot weather.
Come on, Councillor Andy Kay, newly-elected regeneration boss, see what you can do.
Sorry, Coun Ashley Whalley -- you tried and failed.
As for the Pavilions, they could be turned into upmarket cafes. What better than to sit outside a modern cafe listening to a waterfall? Bliss!
