POLITICS is a funny old game. The "Stay At Home" party won again in Bury this time by a large majority, yet they have no representatives on Bury Council.
The Lib Dem voters (the ditherers) should have a big re-think if they ever want their views represented. A Lib Dem vote will certainly always be wasted in Bury, with no chance of power.
As for the eccentric E & W Party, they had a grand vision but turning Bury General Hospital into a library was an unbelievable idea even to the residents of Walmersley, where only 257 voters had faith in them.
Labour are still in control with 33 councillors and the Tories just 12, yet more people voted against Labour.
By and large, you get what you deserve in life. The couldn't-care-less "Stay At Home" party are to blame. They have given us a Labour council again.
