volunteers
AS this is Volunteers' Week, I could like to thank all the local volunteers who give their time and attention to helping people affected by stroke.
Those affected rely heavily on the support of their families, carers and volunteers. Our volunteers devote their time each week either helping patients relearn communication skills, driving local transport or helping run the stroke groups. There is no price to put on this help and The Stroke Association could not manage without them.
If anyone is interested in becoming a volunteer in their local area for the Stroke Association, please contact me on 01282 611445.
