POTATOES are a staple part of our diet and, even though new potatoes are delicious, they still need scraping and cooking.
To save time, potato specialist Rita Ahern has produced a selection of authentic Irish potato products to the UK -- frozen and oven ready.
Rita Ahern Traditional Irish Potato Cakes, Potato Rings and Wedges 'n' Bacon Stir Fry are now available at Tesco, recommended retail price £1.49 for the potato cakes and rings and £1.99 for the bacon variety.
They make a delicious change from chips and, as well as being suitable for oven cooking, they can also be grilled or shallow fried.
