CLITHEROE Town Band raised £160 for their funds thanks to a coffee morning at the Town Hall.
The 40-strong concert band organise concerts throughout the year and held the morning -- attended by local dignitaries -- to increase awareness.
Band treasurer Kevin Newman said after years of playing many people "still don't know what we are all about!"
The next concert is at Clitheroe Band Stand on August 4.
