THE next Preston North End youth development football course commences shortly and there are a number of places still available.
Run in association with Lancaster City, the course lasts for nine weeks and covers most aspects of football coaching.
At the end of the course, all players receive a report on their progress along with a certificate and players who reach a high standard may be asked to attend further training with a view to signing for the academy.
The course is open to all boys and girls in school years one to six and costs £25.
The next course commences on Saturday, July 6 2002 at Salt Ayre Sports Centre from 11am to 12noon and runs every Saturday morning until the end of August.
