WIGAN International Jazz Festival organisers are set for the world premiere of a new jazz suite entitled Cultureshock -- The Spirit of Friendship Suite.
The suite will be performed by Wigan Youth Jazz Orchestra, South African youth orchestra's Gauteng Music Academy Jazz Ensemble and Stirling High School Jazz Band on Saturday, July 20, as part of the festival.
The suite has been written specially for the occasion by composer Richard Iles, to celebrate the cultural partnership between Wigan and South Africa.
