BACUP were stunned by a wonder goal which settled the NWCL Division Two tie.
Holker scored with a 40-yard swerving ball which soared past Tommy Allen in the Bacup goal just before the interval.
"Their defender will never do that again," said boss Brent Peters.
"It was a clearance from their corner, it came out to their defender and he hit it. It was moving all the time, Tommy was going one way and then the other and it just went into the middle of the net."
It was one of only two Holker chances - Allen saving with his legs in the second half - but other than that is was all Bacup.
Damon Gledhill, Martin Peters, Karl Stanley, Micky Barthlomew and Paul Fildes all had chances.
Some were wide, others saved by the keeper and two were blocked on the line.
"It was frustrating," admitted the boss. "But once they scored, they defended deep and we had no space to go in behind them.
"It was like a tidal wave of attacks but we just couldn't make a chance count.
"But we are a young side and we will learn from this."
