JON Newby scored two goals as Shakers reversed an early 2-0 deficit to grab a vital point at the Racecourse.
Bury were looking to build on their 1-1 draw with leaders Hartlepool last week with a win at third-placed Wrexham, where player manager Andy Preece spent two years as a fledgling striker in the early '90s.
