FOUR charges of incitement against a Preston councillor have now been dropped.

At the same time, Bill Chadwick denied a charge of making indecent photographs of a child when he appeared at Preston Crown Court today.

The 48 year old of Avenham Road, Preston, pleaded not guilty to the allegation of downloading indecent photographs of children between January 6th 2000 and August 8th this year.

The court heard today that four incitement charges he had also been facing have now been dropped.
