A CRIME prevention message has been issued by police in Ramsbottom after high-value cars have been stolen in neighbouring divisions.
PC John Flowers wants to prevent people in the town being the next on the targets hit list.
He said: "There has been a spate of incidents where car keys have been stolen and expensive car ssuch as Mercedes and a BMW have been stolen.
"Women whose handbags are left on the passenger seats are being targeted while they stop at traffic lights and other junctions."
